New Beginnings
2025, the year of the snake, is the year for letting go, embracing thoughtful growth and moving forward with intention. As such I’ve spent the first half of 2025 planning and preparing for professional growth and change.
May marks one year since I purchased Sydney Natural Fertility from Kim when she moved to the mid North Coast. During the past year I have learnt so much about the day to day work that goes into running a business, I’ve stressed about paying the bills (and paying myself), I’ve worried about running out of acupuncture needles because my needle delivery took longer than anticipated and I’ve figured out washing the towels is something I need to outsource for my mental health. Importantly, I’ve proven to myself that I can continue on from where Kim left off and provide a positive experience for my clients with great outcomes and results and keep the business running.
I have decided that it is time to make this business authentically mine so that it aligns with my long term visions and goals and I am excited to share that I am changing the business name and focus. We are now called Seven Points Wellness and our focus is on Women’s Wellness.
Our locations and hours are unchanged, we are still in St Leonards and Dural, Kim is still seeing clients via Telehealth and our prices remain the same. The care, compassion and treatment you have always received from us will be exactly the same. We will still be offering holistic individualised treatment plans that combine our TCM skills with modern science so we can achieve the best outcomes for you.
We are changing to open ourselves up to the wider community so we can help more women at any stage of their life. I want to honour the whole journey women undertake as we move through life and I believe true wellness is about providing support through all transitions.
You may be wondering why the name Seven Points Wellness? In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory women’s health follows a natural rhythm evolving through 7 year cycles. Each cycle marks a key transition in a woman’s life, from menarche to fertility, pregnancy and motherhood, menopause and beyond. Our name, Seven Points Wellness, reflects these seven stages in a woman’s life and honours the unique needs, strengths and transformations that come with each stage. The name also reflects the transformative power of the acupuncture point to bring balance of mind, body and spirit and holistically aid wellness.
In the clinic, on social media and on the blog you’ll see offerings from us that move beyond fertility. You will see more about how we can regulate your menstrual cycle and aid with conditions like endometriosis or polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), how we can hold space and see you during perimenopause, menopause and post menopause and we will of course continue to impart our wisdom when it comes to fertility and pregnancy and you’ll find we have some new post partum care offerings. Our focus is not just around hormones and the menstrual cycle we are also here to support your emotional wellbeing and the aging brain and any physical musculoskeletal conditions you may be dealing with.
Personally as a woman who has evolved through many of these life stages I believe that each stage brings with it emotional and physical highs and lows. In the low times we might benefit from extra support, understanding and help to feel better and I believe that with TCM and modern science we can achieve this. I want Seven Points Wellness to be that support for you when a health need arises.
If you have been part of the Sydney Natural Fertility community I thank you. Thank you, for trusting us to help you with your fertility journey and thank you for making the business the success it has been. I assure you nothing will change for you with regard to the care and respect you will continue to receive from us. I am excited to move forward with this change and I hope you will come along for the journey and invite any other women in your life who you feel could benefit from TCM input.
Now for the logistics, our contact phone number remains the same, the Sydney Natural Fertility (SNF) website will automatically forward to sevenpointswellness.com.au and you will be able to book appointments from there easily, our SNF email addresses will continue to exist, we may email you back from our new email address but you will still be able to contact us.
