At Seven Points Wellness in St Leonards and Dural, we support women through all stages of life with treatments for painful periods, irregular cycles, PMS, fertility challenges, IVF support, pregnancy care, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, and menopause. Our approach combines Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, massage, and holistic therapies to restore balance and support your body naturally.

IS acupuncture safe during pregnancy?

Yes. Acupuncture is safe during all stages of pregnancy when performed by an AHPRA registered practitioner. We offer gentle, pregnancy-specific treatments including acupuncture and pregnancy massage to relieve symptoms like nausea, fatigue, back pain, and insomnia. We also support birth preparation and postpartum recovery. Pregnancy massage is available at our St Leonards clinic only.

IS MASSAGE SAFE IN PREGNANCY?

Yes. Pregnancy massage is safe when provided by a qualified therapist trained in prenatal care. Our pregnancy massages are designed to reduce pain, ease swelling, improve sleep, and support your changing body throughout all trimesters. Pregnancy massage is available at our St Leonards clinic only.

Do you treat perimenopause & menopause symptoms?

Yes. We support women through hot flushes, mood swings, night sweats, insomnia, fatigue, frozen shoulder, anxiety and anything else related to perimenopause and menopause. Our treatments aim to rebalance the body gently and naturally.

what types of massage do you offer?

We offer a range of massage therapies including remedial massage, Chinese remedial massage (Tui Na), pregnancy massage, postnatal massage, scar release therapy, cupping massage, and hot stone treatments. Each session is individually tailored to support women’s health, restore movement, and reduce stress. Massage is offered at our St Leoanrds clinic only.

Can acupuncture help with hormonal imbalance?

Yes. Acupuncture helps regulate hormones naturally by supporting the TCM liver, kidney, and spleen systems, reducing stress, and improving menstrual cycle regularity. Many women see improvements in PMS, PCOS, painful periods, mood, and skin health.

HOW MANY APPOINTMENTS WILL I NEED?

We treat each client individually. A treatment plan, detailing the recommended frequency of treatments will be individualised for each client and discussed with you during your initial consultation. Acupuncture is a cumulative process, benefits build over time with each treatment.

Can I claim my appointment on private health insurance?

Yes, our practitioners hold provider numbers with all of the major health funds. For in clinic appointments at St Leonards or Dural, please bring your private health insurance card and it can be processed via Hicaps on the spot. If you forget your card you can pay in full and we will provide you with a receipt for you to claim the rebate directly from your provider.
